The 37th Annual Scientific Meeting of the EUBS is over. There were more than 220 persons registered from almost 40 countries and all continents. During three days of the Conference we heard four invited lectures and more than thirty oral presentations, we saw and discussed about the same number of poster presentations and – for the first time during the EUBS meetings – we participated in the pro/con debates. There were also several satellite meetings, including the ECHM Workshop on HBOT and Emergency Medicine, Workshop on Validation of Dive Computers and International DAN Divers Day. We enjoyed our company during the Welcome Reception in the Arthus Court and the Banquet in the Maritime Museum of Gdansk. Unexpectedly for us, during the conference, we were informed that due to historical eddies it is a 40th anniversary of the EUBS. Happy birthday EUBS!

Now, we would like to thank those of you who helped us in organisation of the conference: members of the Scientific Committee, invited lecturers, chairpersons of the sessions and presenters of the scientific papers, sponsors and the MCC Consulting as local organiser company. This conference would not be possible without your support.
